A long time ago yoga was more like an exercise for me but from the very first class it showed me how the mind could be cleared from the noise of the outside world. I was hooked immediately. I wanted to investigate this interesting practice of wisdom more and here I am still after more than 10 years — learning from myself, from others and from life generally. I’m grateful to be able to share what I’ve embodied.

As always, yin and yang are present also in my life. I love the outgoing yang energy in me — it helps me to take the steps towards my dreams and express myself. The yang energy can be seen on my yoga mat, too. But then there’s the yin side — the more hidden, intuitive part of me that acts as a compass inside of me. It shows what’s going on when I pause. It reminds me to slow down so that I can hear better and it teaches to just be with whatever I need to be with. When my nervous system calms down I have more capacity to be present with life — and to me that’s the place where yoga really happens.

I teach Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa and Aerial yoga and offer the most calming Yoga Nidra practices in Finnish and in English. As a curious citizen of the world I am available and always excited to work also outside of Finland for yoga workshops and retreats.
